Disable Data Consuming Apps in Android
1) Go to your android ‘Settings‘ and tap on the ‘More‘ option,
2) Tap on ‘Data usage.‘
3) Tap the Mobile Data Network tab, e.g. AIRTEL, MTN, GLO
4) Scroll to find the app that you want to disable internet data, if seen, tap on the app.
5) After that tap on the checkbox shown at the bottom of the page ‘Restrict background data‘, If you tap on it you will get a notification, then click ‘OK‘.
Congratulations you have successfully disabled internet data for the selected app. To enable background Internet data for any app which you disable, you will have to undergo the same process and uncheck ‘Restrict background data.
