This article explains the different ways to set a WhatsApp profile picture without cropping.
WhatsApp is currently the most used and downloaded mobile chat app. The app is available almost for all kinds of devices and operating systems (OS), both mobile and PC.
WhatsApp users can chat with other users from any part of the world as long as they are connected to the internet. The app also allowed for group chat, voice calls, and video calls.
As we speak, WhatsApp is currently the most significant competitor for all mobile network operators.
People hardly make calls or send text messages; they simply pick up their internet enable phone and speak to the other party.
Just like most social apps, WhatsApp allows all users to set a profile picture, popularly known as a display picture (DP).
Your profile picture is the display picture people will see whenever they are chatting with you, or when they check your profile.
Everyone on WhatsApp is limited to only a profile picture. In the future update, we believe WhatsApp may support multiple profile pictures.
The limitation most people have with WhatsApp is that it accepts square images to be used as a display picture. If your preferred profile image is not square, you will be forced to crop it in other to make it square.
While cropping in some cases, some points of the image may be lost.

From the image example above, you can see the image has lost some parts due to the cropping effect.
If your image is not square, then it most loses some parts while using it as a profile picture.
WhatsApp as an application has only provided limited space for setting profile pictures and the reason people keep developing apps to aid full profile picture lovers to exercise their rights to update anyhow they like.
The good news is that there are a few ways around it, by using one of the third-party apps that I will list for you here.
WhatsApp Profile Image Without Cropping
Each of the apps allows you to square an image before using it for your WhatsApp profile picture. You can also use the photos it produced for your Instagram profile pictures with cropping.
Not only does this allow you to post full-size photos, but it also enables you to edit, rotate, resize, adjust, and apply filters to it.

After downloading any of the apps, install and run it. The application is now open, click on pick a photo, and adjust the image to full.
Once you are done editing your photo, save the picture. Your full-sized photo is square-sized and is set on your WhatsApp profile picture.
