With the harmonized transfer code, you can transfer airtime and share airtime with family and friends. All you have to do is to dial *321# select Airtime Share, then follow the onscreen instruction.
The harmonized can be used by all networks in Nigeria to transfer airtime. This include MTN, Airtel, Glo, and 9mobile.
How to Transfer Credit on Airtel Network
There are three options to transfer credit on Airtel line, as you will see below.
Airtel ME2U Transfer from the Tool Kit
- Your SIM card must be a 32K SIM; if it is a 16K SIM, then you should upgrade it.
- Go to your phone menu and select “SIM Tool Kit” icon – the icon name may defer depending on your phone brand.
- There you will find “Me2U” – then click on it.
- You will see two options there either to send airtime or change password.
- Choose to send airtime and enter the amount you want to send.
- Next, enter your password and then click OK.
Airtel Credit Transfer Via SMS
- Make use of a 16K Sim cards here.
- Go to the messages and start writing a new message.
- Type 2U {mobile phone} {amount to transfer} {password} after typing Send to 151.
- For instance, if you want to send 500 Naira airtime to 080234XXXXX and your password is 0000; You will have to type: 2U 080234XXXXX 500 0000 and then send the SMS to 151.
- After sending this message correctly, the recipient will certainly receive the airtime, and you will be notified via an SMS.

- Simply dial *432# on your Airtel line.
- On the next screen, select Airtel to Airtel transfer by typing 1.
- Type the amount you want to transfer

- Enter your PIN and send.
- If there is any other on-screen instruction, you will have to follow it too. The Transfer will be completed.
How to Transfer Airtime From Airtel to Other Networks
- Simply dial *432# on your Airtel line,
- Select Airtel to other Networks transfer by typing 2,
- Type the amount you want to transfer to another network,
- Type the receivers phone number; it should not be an Airtel line,
- Enter your PIN and send.
- If there is any other on-screen instruction, you will have to follow it too. The Transfer will be completed.
How to Change Airtel Credit Transfer PIN (USSD Code)
- It is straightforward, simply dial *432#
- To change your pin Reply 3.
- On the next screen, enter your current pin and send.
- Next, type in your new pin and confirm it.
- Your pin will be successfully changed.
- The next time you need to make a transfer, you must use your new pin.
How to Change Airtel Transfer PIN Via SMS
- You will need a 16K Sim card.
- Open your text message, just the way you send new a message.
- Type Pin < your old password> [give a space] <your new password> and send to 151.
- For example, you want to change your default password from 1234 to 7890. Type: Pin 1234 7890 and send the SMS to 151.
