The unified code is *311#

This code can be used to recharge airtime on MTN and other networks in Nigeria.

Simply dial *311* recharge pin #

For example, if your recharge pin is 1234567891011 dial *311*1234567891011#

How to Load MTN Recharge Card

MTN 16 digits Recharge Card

You should know that most MTN Nigeria recharge codes contain a 16-digit PIN. So, follow the step below for loading the 16 digits airtime on your phone.

To load or recharge an MTN line, dial the recharge PIN in the following USSD format: *555*PIN# and then Send/Ok.

For example, if the airtime PIN is 1111 2222 3333, include *555*111122223333# and press Send or Ok on your phone’s dialler.

If successful, you can dial *556# to check the account balance.

MTN 10 digits Recharge Card

The 10 digit pins are not so common, but we come across them sometimes.

To recharge the MTN 10 digits PIN simply dial *3551*PIN# and then Send/Ok.

How To Load Airtime On MTN Via Bank Top-up

This can be easily done via your bank mobile app. Depending on the bank you are banking with and how its mobile app was developed.

On most bank mobile apps, you will find a button or link for mobile top-up. Simply click on it, select your MTN as your mobile carrier, then enter your mobile number.

After the click on the proceed button. The sun you recharge will be debited from your bank account, and your mobile phone will be credited with the same sum.

Note that using the medium if you make a mistake on the mobile number it may not be refundable. So you have to be very careful and make sure you cross-check the number before clicking on the proceed button.

Airtime Transfer (MTN Share & Sell)

Another method of recharging your phone is via airtime transfer. A friend or family member may want the recharge your MTN by transferring you part of his/her airtime.

By doing this the sum will be deducted from the sender MTN balance and added to the receiver MTN balance. This is very easy as dialing *600* receiver MTN number *Amount to send* PIN#.

Before this will be successful you will first need to create a PIN. Better still you can simply dial *600# and follow the onscreen information.

Recharge Via Third-party Fintech App

There are lots of apps that can also be used for recharging. The apps will either require your bank or card details and recharge your MTN line through your bank.

Some of the apps have their own inbuilt wallet, so if you choose to recharge the recharging sum will be deducted from your app wallet and credited to your MTN line.
